Learning Activities for Young Children That are Full of Movement

  • Create a sand table - Practice shapes, letters, numbers and drawing

  • Water table - Pouring, measuring, fine motor coordination, and hand/eye coordination

  • Water “painting” - Hang an old sheet on a fence or between two trees. Give the child(ren) pail(s) of water and different sized paint brushes to paint on the sheet.
